Jeff and Jennifer Rubenstein, PUBLISHERS - Husband and wife, Jennifer and Jeff Rubenstein are the new owners of Edible Indy.  Jennifer Rubenstein graduated from Tri-State University with an advertising and marketing degree.  She has worked for an NBC television affiliate in a senior account manager position, was the vice president of a video and event production company working with fortune 500 companies, and for the last eight years owned her own  marketing and events company.  Jennifer has extensive knowledge of branding, creative marketing promotions and strategy, event production and sales. She is also an recent retired board member for the IWIN Foundation and hosts multiple golf outing events for local charities.   Her passion and hobby is being a foodie.  Over the last 30 plus years, Jennifer and her mother traveled to many places and made a habit of finding local off the beaten path places to shop, eat and enjoy.  Since moving to Indy in 2007, she continues to frequent locally owned farmer’s markets, eateries, grocery stores and any other opportunities to promote and support to local business owners.

Jeff Rubenstein has spent the last 17 years as the Director of Golf at Golf Club of Indiana.  He graduated from Indiana University Bloomington with a degree in Sports Management.  Jeff oversees day to day operations at Golf Club of Indiana and is responsible for over 40 employees, operating budget and hosts over 100 events annually.  Jeff is also the current past President of the Epilepsy Foundation of Indiana and is an active board member.  Jeff will continue his current role with Golf Club of Indiana and will be the new CFO for Edible Indy.

Jeff and Jennifer have two lovely daughters, Wrigley and Mara Ellis.  They reside near Zionsville Indiana on three acres and love to be outdoors. Shauna Nosler
Shauna L. Nosler

Shauna L. Nosler, MANAGING EDITOR – Originally from the Pacific Northwest, Nosler says she misses the mountains, the beaches, and of course the wine and the abundance of seafood, but admits she has fallen in love with the greater Indianapolis metropolitan area—especially now that she knows the Hoosier State is the mecca for heirloom tomatoes in the summer. Along with her insatiable appetite for vine-picked tomatoes, she is a sucker for traditional Spanish Paella, shellfish prepared diavolo style and anything containing toasted coconut. Her goals for 2017 include perfecting the art of making hollandaise sauce, running another marathon and holding a handstand for longer than five seconds. A seasoned journalist and self-proclaimed salt snob (she has, after all, been known to bring her own fleur de sel when dining out), Nosler has contributed to a number of publications both locally and nationally and is excited to bring her love of the written word and her craving for all things new to edibleIndy. managingeditor@edibleindy.com | 317.294.5741 | @shaunanosler

Rachel D.Russell, DIGITAL CONTENT MANAGER AND EDITOR– Rachel Russell graduated from Purdue University with degrees in Anthropology, English and French and received her law degree from Valparaiso University School of Law. Rachel grew up in a small Indiana town, but has called Broad Ripple her home for the last several years. She has a passion for food, only second to writing, and enjoys hearing about how food has shaped people’s lives. Caryn graduated with a degree in Graphic Design in 2012, shortly after marrying her husband, Seth. They now live in South Carolina with their teddy-bear-of-a-dog, Walt. She enjoys watching movies, stress-baking, and buying too much antique glassware. While she has no formal training in food, she watched her parents cook countless meals that were shared around a table. This sparked Caryn's passion for the community that comes with food and over time she's developed an interest in the farm-to-table community. Brogan just graduated from Indiana University with a degree in Journalism and International Studies. She’s been passionate about food since she was a little girl taste-testing everything her parents cooked. She believes a lot of the world’s problems could be solved if everyone sat down together with a meal and a few glasses of wine. While she’s lived in central Indiana her entire life, she learns more about its food every day. She’s excited to learn even more with Edible Indy. Sarah Longenecker-PHOTOGRAPHY INTERN

Sarah is a rising senior at Eastern Mennonite University in Virginia where she studies photography and studio art. She grew up in a Mennonite home in Lancaster Pennsylvania with two older sisters and a big garden. Though she’ll miss the farmland of PA and the blue mountains of the Shenandoah, she is excited to call Indy her home for the summer and explore a new landscape.  Sarah enjoys dancing blues and salsa into the early morning, singing along to folk songs in the car until she’s hoarse, and eating cherry tomatoes straight off the vine. She sees cooking as a form of meditation and believes that being mindful of one’s food and where it comes from is necessary in working towards social and environmental justice.
