Chef Jon Radford received his training from Johnson & Wales University in Charlotte NC in the mid '90s. My passion for local organic ingredients led me from corporate restaurants to owning one of Indy's first organic locally sourced food trucks, Scribble Sustainable Cuisine. After a few years on the road the opportunity to become Head Chef at The Gaithering Bistro and Pub became a reality. The next adventure brought me to Joe Lazzara (the Joe in Joe's Butcher Shop). We had the same approach to food and quality. We also shared a love of sandwiches. We researched and tested recipes for months until we came up with the menu for Joe's Next Door. Our goal at Joe's Next Door is to provide the best Deli/sandwich experience in Indiana....and I believe we are living up to that standard daily.
