What the heck is Kombucha? A refreshing ancient fermented tea-based probiotic beverage known for its health benefits. Kombucha has been around for 1,000’s of years and originated in China. It is said to boost immunity, aid digestive health and protect the liver. It contains B vitamins, probiotics, and helps alkalize the body. Kombucha lovers often enjoy the calming effect they feel after consumption.
Nature’s Pharm, a locally owned and operated health food store in Castleton is introducing Indiana’s first and only Kombucha Bar! Starting September 12th, Kombucha advocates will be able to fill up 64 or 32 oz. growlers, sip flights, or take home a 16 oz. bale top of choice. What’s on tap? Indianapolis’ locally made Presto Kombucha offered in 8 flavors. Also available will be cold brew Presto and Brickhouse coffee, both local small batch roasters.
