A healthy eats destination called Rize has opened in the Ironworks Hotel Indy on Indianapolis’ northside. Chef Natalie Wall “understands a quick, healthy option is essential to power through her busy day and hopes to bring an accessible solution to the Northside community.” Working with local farmers and artisans to create a sustainable, seasonally inspired menu, Rize offers dine-in breakfast and lunch options as well as catering services to make eating well easy.

“I know the struggle of finding something healthy and fast because I usually don’t have time to sit and eat. I’ve worked closely with Chef Carl Chambers and we simply can’t get closer to better food for our guests. The farmers we work with run their operations with integrity and we grow most of the produce in our own greenhouse. I hope the community here sees we genuinely want to offer a healthier option,” says Chef Natalie.

Curious and excited about the new addition, we asked Chef Natalie a few questions about what makes Rize unique.

Q: Who are some of the farmers you work with and source from in Central Indiana?  

A: CRG Grow (CRG's very own hydroponic greenhouse), Fischer Farms and Annabelle's Garden & Miller Farms.

Q: Are there any special, seasonal dishes on the menu for winter? 

A: We will be making a few adjustments moving into winter. We are a chef-driven restaurant that strives to deliver the highest quality ingredients on a daily basis, offering soups of the day, changing our menu based on quality and seasonality of products.

Q: What is your favorite pick for breakfast and lunch? 

A: For breakfast, Chicken Hash. For lunch, Green Goddess Salad with a side of Ricotta Toast 

Q: What does eating healthy mean to you? 

A: Healthy to us means farm-to-table, quality ingredients. We try to be on the lighter side of food. However, we do have a few menu items that are very tasty, with a few extra calories.
