The Tippecanoe Arts Federation hosted the Taste of Tippecanoe Saturday, June 20th, on the square in Lafayette’s quaint downtown. Edible Indy was proud to be invited and attend.

The event featured a vast range of the area’s original cuisine, candies and chocolates and Indiana beer (stationed in biergartens) and wine. Three stages also featured a wide variety of live music. Most importantly, the seemingly never-ending rain took the night off, and the sun even made an appearance, allowing guests to enjoy the evening and the fireworks just before closing time.

Edible Indy and some friends had a wonderful time sampling food from Egyptian Restaurant (tofu veggie wrap and baklava), Ichiban Sichuan (sushi roll), La Scala (tiramisu, cannoli and amazing ravioli Florentine), McCord Candies (handmade fountain soda and ice cream), McGraw’s Steak Chop & Fish House (Jack Daniel’s Teriyaki Beef Tips, which we were told sell out quickly so this was our first stop), People’s Brewing (Ol’ Tavern Brew), Porky’s (Pork Parfait), Restauration (pork sliders) and Wildcat Creek Winery (sweet red wine).

Also for this event, Edible Indy partnered with Visit Lafayette/West Lafayette and offered four free tickets to one of our followers on social media.

We look forward to attending future events in these two great cities!

Keep an eye out for other promotional events we may run with this and other cities.
