16th Annual Pumpkinvine Bike Ride
Our ride will be on the Pumpkinvine Nature Trail plus county roads through the third largest Amish community in the U.S. Ride alongside horses and buggies and cruise past picturesque Amish farms.
New ride routes use a combination of the 16-mile Pumpkinvine Nature Trail and county roads passing through the third largest Amish community in the U.S. Cruise on roads with horses and buggies past fields with farm animals enclosed by white fences. Ride with 1200 other bicyclists past country stores and country schools and see new-born foals in summer pastures.
Generous SAGs will serve fruits, vegetables and cold cut sandwiches. We use locally grown produce when available. Homemade pie and ice cream will be served at the end of the ride. Join our optional Friday Evening Dinner Ride and bicycle to an Amish home where you will enjoy a hearty Thresher's Dinner.
