Anderson Brew Fest
We would like to invite you to the 2st annual Anderson Brew Fest!!
Join 20 Indiana breweries including Scarlet Lane Brewing, Triton Brewing, Tax Man Brewing, Mad Anthony Brewing, Redemption Ale Werks, Books N Brews, Trubble Brewing, Bier Brewing, New Corner, Carson's, Barley Island, 450 North Brewing, Flat 12 Bierwerks, Tin Man, Grand Junction, Danny Boy, 3 Pints, Wooden Bear and More to sample some of the best craft beer Indiana has to offer.
TICKETS MUST BE PRESENTED UPON ENTRY TO THIS EVENT!
Anderson Brew Fest will be held on June 6th from 1pm-7pm Early Birds (1pm-2pm) General Admission (2pm-7pm) in Downtown Anderson at Dickman Town Center Plaza across from the historic Paramount theatre.
General admission tickets will be offered through Eventbrite for $40 General Admission and $50 VIP Early Bird from now until June 5. Any remaining tickets will be $5 more at the door June 6. We are also offering a Sober Driver ticket for $10. Sober drivers will get all the perks free water and non-alcoholic beverages and will be issued bracelets.
The Brew Fest committee sees the need in our city for revitalization, growth and cultural stimulation. Our event is a combination of local art, music, food and Indiana craft brew. Our beer culture here in Anderson is growing more and more every day!! We would like to be a part of educating our locals on the complex taste, beauty and skill that is synonymos with quality craft beer.
We have started this event not only to show our passion for quality craft beer, but also to uphold our social responsibility to our local community. 25% of our proceeds to a local non-for profit called EPIC Initiatives, a youth fitness and mentorship program (www.facebook/epicinitiatives.com) This event is hosted by Project Brewify Inc., holding events that bring craft brew and local culture together to raise funds for community impact, local brew initiatives/education and art/beautification projects within our city and county.
We will have 20 craft brewers from Indiana showcasing their best local brews! Sample pours are 3 oz for the entire event. A souvenir pint glass and swag bag will be provided upon admission.
Stampede String Band is our stage headliner. A variety of local bands including Apathy Wizards, Yukon Fox and Alex Wnek & Friends will be playing while you enjoy authentic Cajun cooking from Anderson’s own Big Easy Cajun Cuisine, Italian style pizza from Tommy J’s. Food and Beverage cost not included in ticket price. Our passion for our tiny, yet talented art community will be represented by most of the festival volunteers, and we will be displaying art and goods from Park Place Arts, Buckskin Bikes, Garrett Richards, Caryn Goreman, Justin McIntosh, Crooked Hookers, Mainstage Theater, Strings Attached, What Workz and more. In order to promote and support our local artist we will be offering Artist’s vendor space free of charge!
We also will be having a contest for Anderson’s Craftiest Brew. The Craftiest Brewer will receive a trophy, bragging rights and a $150 donation to the charity of their choice. We would love to see brewers bring as much variety as possible so we can open more doors and expand the horizons of our novice craft beer community. We werent able to do this last year, so we will be uping the donation to $300!
We are proud to announce lead sponsorship from The City of Anderson. Keg N Bottle Package and Hoosier Park Racing and Casino are our stage sponsors this year, and joining us at general level is Alpha Air LLC and more to be announced.
