Market District: Holiday Hiring Event
On Tuesday, Oct. 27, from 1 to 7 p.m., the new Carmel Market District, located at 11505 N. Illinois St., will host an in-store hiring event, focused on filling more than 100 part-time, full-time and seasonal positions throughout the store and its signature restaurant, table by Market District.
At the open interview event, job candidates will learn about the numerous career opportunities in the restaurant and store, meet hiring managers and store leaders, apply for immediate openings and participate in interviews. Job offers will be made on-site. Opportunities for continued employment past the holiday season will also be available. Open positions include: cashier, guest services, prep & line cooks, servers, restaurant porters, bakers, beauty sales experts and more.
The new 120,000-square-foot Carmel Market District offers a culinary, dining and shopping experience unique to Indiana. The store features an array of gourmet prepared foods, a sweets shop with hand-dipped chocolate novelties and other confections, an artisan cheese shop, a chef demonstration kitchen, an expanded assortment of international foods, an extensive bulk food section and more. These delicious offerings are complemented by national brand items customers most prefer, as well as a wide variety of favorites under the Market District brand, promising high quality at a great value. Shoppers can also find a utopia of the freshest specialty and organic fruits, vegetables and herbs, as well as the best seafood— from Alaska’s pristine waters to the Gulf shores—and the widest variety of fresh-cut meats on the market.
The menu at Market District’s signature restaurant, table, offers chef-inspired meals featuring the freshest offerings from farms, dairies and local food artisans, for seasonal foods at their finest. The bar offers a selection of local and craft beers plus an extensive wine list. The restaurant features seating for 115 indoors, 52 outdoors and 20 at the bar. Qualified table by Market District candidates should have at least two years of recent restaurant experience in a high-volume establishment.
