Meet and Greet with Cookbook Author Lauren McDuffie
Lauren McDuffie is a passionate storyteller, food writer, photographer, stylist and keeper of the award-winning blog, Harvest and Honey . Although not a trained chef, it is Lauren's intense passion for all things food which drives her desire to share and connect with others. Her clear talent for storytelling and artistic eye in styling and photography were natural catalysts for her most recent adventure, becoming a published cookbook author. Lauren's memoir-style cookbook, Smoke, Roots, Mountain, Harvest, explores her Appalachian roots and how they connect to her modern table.
As a contributor for Edible Indy, we celebrate her journey, her story and the release of the unique and stunning cookbook. Join us in partnership with Indy Women in Food on Thursday, May 30th from 5--7pm at Indy Reads for a very special conversation with Lauren McDuffie about how she fought hard to create something uniquely hers.
Space is limited, tickets are recommended. Noshes and light beverages will be provided by Indy Women in Food who celebrate the sisterhood of foodies and outstanding women in their field and there will be an opportunity to purchase her cookbook.
