Meet the Author of Smoke, Roots, Mountains, Harvest at Goods for Cooks

Lauren McDuffie is a passionate storyteller, food writer, photographer, stylist and keeper of the award-winning blog, Harvest and Honey . Although not a trained chef, it is Lauren's intense passion for all things food which drives her desire to share and connect with others. Her clear talent for storytelling and artistic eye in styling and photography were natural catalysts for her most recent adventure, becoming a published cookbook author. Lauren's memoir-style cookbook, Smoke, Roots, Mountain, Harvest, explores her Appalachian roots and how they connect to her modern table.

Join Goods for Cooks, in partnership with Edible Indy, on Sunday, June 9th from 4 - 5:30 pm at Goods for Cooks for a very special conversation with Lauren McDuffie on the triumphs and challenges of writing a cookbook, creating art & food, running a business, caring for a family and fighting for causes close to her heart.

This event is ticketed, attendees will be treated to light food and drink, a copy of Lauren's book with an opportunity to have it signed, as well as private shopping after our talk.
