Pierogi Fest

This festival draws more than a quarter million visitors each year and is the pride of Whiting, Ind. It allows us to celebrate our heritage while poking a little fun at ourselves at the same time. See grown women dressed up like bushas (grandmothers) in housecoats and babushkas; a lawnmower brigade complete with socks and sandals; and of course the life-size polish pastries and goodies walking and talking. 

Don't miss the fun, there are plenty of contests, games, family-fun, a parade and of course - the Pierogi!
