Spirit & Place Festival

The 2017 Spirit & Place Festival celebrates, explores, challenges and reflects on the meaning behind “power” with 37 unique events on November 3-12. Celebrating its 22nd year, the Spirit & Place Festival is Indianapolis’s largest collaborative festival that uses the arts, religion and humanities as a vehicle for shaping individual and community life through 10 days of experiences presented in partnership with upwards of 100 partner organizations. These events take place across 32 venues with over 70 presenters, speakers and performers. The annual Spirit & Place Festival offers exhibits, documentaries and conversations that aim to spark meaningful discussion among diverse citizens across Central Indiana. These events help facilitate reflection, experimentation and celebration surrounding a variety of thought provoking topics.
