About the area:
With about 80,000 residents, Bloomington is a comfortable city of striking contrasts: small-town feel with big-city amenities, Big Ten sports and yoga studios, urban lofts and rustic cabins, garage bands and symphony concert halls, food trucks and fine dining. A mirror of the larger cities of Portland and Austin, Bloomington brings together the creative people of an entire region. An award-winning park system connects through the B-Line trail, linking one of the largest farmers’ markets in the state to a thriving downtown, where art galleries, theaters, restaurants, breweries, and music venues draw visitors from all over. At heart a college town, Bloomington is surprisingly international. Students, professors, and university staff from around the world have created a diverse and multi-dimensional culture. Condensed urban planning has resulted in an extremely walkable city with almost no traffic congestion. As its only co-op, Bloomingfoods is valued as a community hub and a leader in the local cooperative economy.

To apply: Send your resume with a cover letter to the GM Search Committee at GMsearch@bloomingfoods.coop. In your cover letter, please include a short statement explaining why you wish to join Bloomingfoods, and how your experience and qualities would make you a good organizational leader.
