Why We Love It: After honing his culinary chops, Chris Eley and his wife Mollie returned to Indy in 2007 and opened Goose the Market as a full-service butcher shop, grocery and wine store. Smoking Goose opened as an USDA-inspected meatery in 2011. Chris and Mollie believe in the farm-to-table way of eating and work each day to bring the best fresh and cured meats along with local vegetables, staples, wine and to-go foods in the area.
