Ingredients

  • 2 ounces Spirits of French Lick Absinthe Le Blue
  • Vanilla Ice Cream
  • A&W Root Beer
  • 2 sprigs of spearmint

Preparation

Use one 8-ounce Highball Glass. Add 2 ounces of absinthe. Add 2–3 scoops (whatever fills the glass) of vanilla ice cream. Pour A&W Root Beer over the ice cream.

Slap one sprig of mint on backside of your hand to express oils, rub rim of glass. Place second sprig decoratively into top of ice cream.

Thusly named due to a drunken night of pretend mixology in Louisville. Easy to make and delicious, may cause feelings of euphoria and a need to call and apologize to friends for your behavior a few days later.
