- 2 ounce Russell's Bourbon
- 1 ounce blackberry simple Syrup
- 7-8 dashes chicory pecan Bitters
Place all ingredients in beaker. Stir vigorously and strain in large tulip over ice ball. Rub lemon peel around the rim then squeeze and drop in tulip glass.
Blackberry simple syrup
In a pan boil 1 cup water, 1 cup sugar and 1 cup blackberries. Bring ingredients to a boil, reduce and simmer for 15 minutes. Smash the blackberries while simmering. Strain through chinois. Place in a jar and keep for up to two weeks in the refrigerator.

Garnish: Lemon peel (run all around rim then squeeze and drop in cocktail)
