Cuban Pork

Cuban pork is perfect alone, on a sandwich or in tacos. You choose!

Preparation

Place pork loin and olive oil in slow cooker. Mix all seasonings in a small bowl and sprinkle over pork loin. Top with sliced onions. Pour orange and lime juices over pork. Cook on low heat in slow cooker for 10 hours, turning meat every few hours. Remove pork. Allow to cool for 15 minutes and slice very thin.

Ingredients

  • 2–3 pounds pork loin
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon lime zest
  • 1 small garlic bulb roasted and skins removed
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 2 teaspoon oregano
  • 2 teaspoons of smoked salt
  • ⅛ teaspoon red pepper
  • ⅛ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 medium red onion, sliced thin
  • ½ cup orange juice
  • ½ fresh lime juice
