Homemade Italian Marinade

Mix marinade ingredients in a jar with tight-fitting lid, and shake to emulsify. This can also be completed in a bowl with a wire whisk.

  • ¾ cup virgin olive oil (not extra-virgin)
  • 1 teaspoon mustard
  • 1 clove garlic, mashed and minced
  • 1 tablespoon oregano, fresh minced or dried
  • 1 pinch salt, to taste
