- 2 ounces Bulleit Rye
- ½ ounces Pecan-Molasses Simple*
- Dash Chocolate bitters
Pour bourbon and simple in tin and shake. Strain into rocks glass filled with ice and top with chocolate bitters. Garnish with orange swath.
*Pecan-Molasses Simple: Boil 3 cups of water with 1 cup of pecans and 1 cup of sugar. Add 3 tablespoons of blackstrap molasses and simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and allow to cool completely. Store in fridge overnight and strain pecans the next day.
