Sullivan's Steakhouse Bourbon Sweet Potato Casserole with Pecan Oatmeal Crumble

Instructions

Roast potatoes in their skins in a 350⁰F oven until fully cooked.

Remove skin and place potatoes into a stainless steel bowl.

Combine remaining ingredients and mash with a wire whisk until smooth consistency.

Place the sweet potato mixture into a casserole of choice and top with pecan oatmeal topping.

Bake casserole for 15 minutes then remove the casserole. Let stand for 6 minutes for topping to set.

 

Ingredients

Casserole Filling
  • 6 sweet potatoes
  • ¼ cup Jack Daniels
  • ¼ pound brown sugar
  • ¼ pound unsalted butter
  • ¾ tablespoon maple flavoring
  • ¼ tablespoon vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon iodized salt
Crumble
  • ½ pound unsalted butter
  • ½ pound brown sugar
  • ¾ cup pecans, medium ground
  • 1 cup Quaker Old Fashioned Oats
  • 1 cup all purpose flour
