I'm a co-founder of Cardinal Spirits, the craft distillery, cocktail bar and kitchen in Bloomington. I have a passion for making great spirits using thoughtful ingredients that are often local — all while building a stronger community. We started Cardinal Spirits in 2015, and now our spirits are distributed in 12 markets and served at some of the best bars and restaurants in Indiana, and across the country.

Favorite food. Are gummy bears a food group? They should be. I've tried them all, and the very best ones are made by Albanese in Merrillville, Indiana.

Are you charitable? Who do you support? Yes, I support early childhood education for at-risk youth and low-income families through the Community Foundation of Bloomington and Monroe County.

What is the go to meal for your product that you love? I love pairing our spirits with everything from burgers to high-end dishes. That said, I love a good nosh and cocktails in the afternoon, with olives, nuts, maybe some toasted bread. My drink of choice is our Terra Botanical Gin on the rocks.
