Conner Prairie Prairie Plates

Conner Prairie in Fishers will kick off its "Prairie Plates" farm-to-table inspired series on April 17th. Each event features a top chef from the region and gourmet artisans. Events are held on the grounds of Conner Prairie at several iconic locations.

APRIL 17
6pm: Prohibition Party with Repeal Restaurant and 12.05 Distillery:
Guests will meet up at the Chinese House (a venue rumored to have roots as a Prohibition-era speakeasy) and find themselves transported to the Roaring Twenties (while of course wearing their vintage threads). Repeal Restaurant will serve, 12.05 Distillery will pour for the event and the Indianapolis Jazz Orchestra will provide lively entertainment; $150 for non-members, $140 for members.

MAY 22
6-8:30 pm: Bicentennial Celebration with J. Ford’s Black Angus: 
Attendees can celebrate Indiana’s bicentennial at the historic Conner House at Conner Prairie with acclaimed J. Ford’s Black Angus restaurant in Terre Haute and Upland Brewery; $95 non-members, $85 members.

JUNE 16
6:30-9 pm: Petite Chou Bistro and Champagne Bar at the Balloon: 
Restauranteur Martha Hoover and Executive Chef Tyler Herald of Petite Chou Bistro and Champagne Bar add a French flare to Conner Prairie’s 1859 Balloon Voyage with delectable wine and epicurean delights. After dinner, guests are invited to soar 370 feet in the air in Conner Prairie’s tethered helium balloon, which was created by French company Aerophile; $95 non-members, $85 members.

OCT. 2
6-8:30 pm: Meridian Restaurant on the Covered Bridge: 
Chef Dean Sample of Meridian Restaurant and Bar serves an innovative and artful evening of gourmet food and fine wine on Conner Prairie’s covered bridge. Guests can then take in the sights from Treetop Outpost, a new exhibit connecting people to the outdoors set to open July 1; $95 non-members, $85 members.

NOV. 5
11 am-1 pm: 100 Mile Brunch with Ivy Tech: 
Chef Jeffery Alan Bricker and students from Ivy Tech’s hospitality administration program prepare a gourmet brunch featuring products obtained within a 100-mile radius of Conner Prairie; $65 non-members, $60 members.
