August 26–27, 2016 at American Legion Mall in downtown Indianapolis

No international travel is needed to experience wines from across the world at the Indianapolis Wine Festival presented by City Securities and Faegre Baker Daniels. The two-day event held August 26–27 at American Legion Mall provides guests an opportunity to sample more than 250 wines from around the world, local cuisine, live musical entertainment and more. Tickets for the highly-anticipated event go on sale on Friday, May 13 and a part of the proceeds will benefit Riley's Children Foundation.

“Festival attendees have the chance to learn about new and exciting varieties of wine directly from the experts in a relaxed, conversational setting,” said Scott Janess of KemperLesnik, organizer of the Indianapolis Wine Festival. “The Festival will be one of the region’s top wine events thanks to our presenting sponsors – City Securities and Faegre Baker Daniels.”

The event gives festival-goers an opportunity to immerse themselves in the wine culture, with tastings, expert and sommelier-led seminars, pairing tips and more. There are two ticket options:

  • The Adult Wine Tasting Ticket is $32 in advance and $40 at the gate. It includes 20 wine tastings, wine seminars, musical entertainment, the opportunity to purchase wine at a discount and a souvenir wine glass upon departure.
  • The Designated Driver Ticket, presented by Tom Wood Luxury Group, is $10 and includes two non-alcoholic drinks, wine seminars, musical entertainment and a souvenir wine glass upon departure. Under 21 admitted free when accompanied by paid adult.

The festival is located at American Legion Mall, which is bordered by Meridian and Pennsylvania Streets between North and St. Clair Streets; free parking is available nearby.

“As a firm, City Securities is proud to support local events - such as the Indianapolis Wine Festival - that are both entertaining and are an important part of the culture and mission of the communities we serve,” said Mike Bosway, President and CEO.  “Taking part in such events allows us to expand our efforts to be a company that defines great client experience and community involvement.”

“Faegre Baker Daniels is proud to support events like the Indianapolis Wine Festival that draw people to our great city by providing entertainment, showcasing the caliber of our local businesses, and also giving back to the community, as this inaugural event will do, by donating proceeds to the Riley Children’s Foundation,” said Murray Clark, FaegreBD partner and leader of the firm’s Indianapolis offices. “Our firm has a deep connection to Indianapolis through business, civic and community involvement and we value the opportunity to help highlight all that our city has to offer.”
