IAs overall wellbeing becomes a high priority, one Indianapolis group is leading the charge to educate as many Hoosiers as possible this month. Indy Holistic Hub will host the first-ever Holistic Hub Wellbeing Fest, Saturday, June 25, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at St. Luke’s Methodist Church on the north side. Geared to educating and empowering the public, the event hopes to fuel interest in holistic health.

“We’ve seen such a rise in holistic health awareness that we knew it was time for an event to promote it,” says Indy Holistic Hub founder, Jennifer Seffrin. “The public need for something like this is huge; I feel like this is just the beginning.” Boasting 50 holistic vendors—including physicians and other practitioners—Wellbeing Fest features a marketplace, guest speakers and family activities. For a mere $5, attendees have access to everything at the festival; children are admitted for free.

A portion of advance ticket sales benefit the launch of Micro Greens Project Indy, whose mission is to teach children about nutrition and provide tools for cooking healthy meals on a small budget.

Indy Holistic Hub was founded in 2012 by Jennifer Seffrin, who also owns Seffrin Synergy LLC. In the past three years, the group has grown from cozy luncheons  to a thriving  100 member base with new members joining routinely.  It has become a professional networking group and online directory of holistic care resources for the greater Indianapolis community.
