A Couple Cooks seeks to inspire and educate about the joy of cooking wholesome, nutritious foods. We’re a husband and wife team who creates original, healthy recipes and develops content to encourage whole foods eating.
With no experience in the kitchen and a diet of fast and frozen foods, we got married and set out to learn how to cook. Along the way, we fell in love with the taste of good, clean, honest food. Today we see ourselves as advocates for wholesome food, local and seasonal eating when possible, sustainable farming, and access to nutritious food for all. We believe nutritious cooking is a key to healthy people and a healthy planet.
We follow Michael Pollan’s mantra, "Eat real food, not too much, mostly plants," and hope this space reflects what that looks like in everyday life. Our diet is Mediterranean-style and mainly vegetarian, full of seasonal fruits and vegetables, whole grains, and natural sweeteners.
