Indiana Coffees: Local Roasts Delivered to your Doorstep
Last November, Lars Miller co-founded Indy in a Box, which ships Indianapolis favorites to you or a friend’s doorstep. And then this June, he started Indiana Coffees, which operates in much the same way as his first venture, but with local coffees.
Indiana Coffees is currently working with 8 Indiana Roasters in Central Indiana – Bee Coffee Roasters, Blue Mind Roasting, Hubbard and Cravens, Liberation Roasting Co., Limelight Coffee Roasters, Miles Square Coffee Roastery and Tinker Coffee Co. – and Agapetos Coffee Roasters out of South Bend.
Miller’s goal is to cast a wider coffee net, but first he’s building his subscription base. You can order coffee to your door on a monthly basis in 2, 3, and 4 bag subscriptions with 12-ounce bags, and you can even get a sampler pack with 4, 4 ounce-sized bags.
As we turn to a world were fewer and fewer of us go to stores and we turn our sites on grocery and goods that are home delivered, why should coffee be an exception? And even better if you can buy local and support the economy in your area.
