Male teenagers who eat fish at least twice a week at age 15 show an 11 percent increase in intelligence scores at age 18.
The omega-3 fats in fish provide optimum development of a baby’s brain and nervous system.
The USDA’s Dietary Guidelines for Americans recommend children 2 to 8 years old eat 3 to 6 ounces of fish per week, and those older eat 8 to 10 ounces per week.
