Golden Moon Milk

A beautifully delicious and peaceful beverage from Anni Daulter's Moon Milk recipe book.

Ingredients

SERVINGS: 2 Serving(s)
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 1 teaspoon grated or very thinly sliced fresh ginger
  • 1 1/2 cups milk of choice, warmed
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Honey or maple syrup, to taste
  • coconut butter or ghee
  • Cayenne powder (optional)

Preparation

Boil water and ginger in a saucepan for 4–5 minutes. Strain out ginger. In a blender, combine milk, ginger water, spices, and honey. Blend until smooth and frothy. Stir in a dollop of ghee to finish and sprinkle with edible gold stars for extra sparkle. Add a dash of cayenne for a little kick.
