Ingredients

- 1 1/2 cups water
- 1 teaspoon grated or very thinly sliced fresh ginger
- 1 1/2 cups milk of choice, warmed
- 1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric
- 1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- Honey or maple syrup, to taste
- coconut butter or ghee
- Cayenne powder (optional)
Preparation
Boil water and ginger in a saucepan for 4–5 minutes. Strain out ginger. In a blender, combine milk, ginger water, spices, and honey. Blend until smooth and frothy. Stir in a dollop of ghee to finish and sprinkle with edible gold stars for extra sparkle. Add a dash of cayenne for a little kick.
