Mango Chili Bubble Tea

Bubble tea may just be a food trend, but we don't care. We love it! This recipe combines sweet and spicy to really get your tastebuds thinking!

Fill small pan with water and bring to a boil. Pour in dried pearl tapioca. Cook for five minutes. Remove, strain and rinse with cold water. Pour cooked tapioca into bottom of a tall glass. Fill glass with crushed ice. Pour tea in glass, add honey and stir. Add mango purée and cayenne pepper. Stir and serve cold with a fat straw. 


  • ½ cup dried large pearl tapioca
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper (more or less to taste)
  • ½ cup strong brewed green or black tea, cooled
  • 1 cup mango purée
